Google Nexus One: what Motorola Droid should have been

Google-Nexus-One-Demo-VideoJason Chen of Gizmodo tried the Google Nexus One thanks to an anonymous source. As a result, new photos and a hands-on video surfaced.

Chen said “You can call the design the antithesis of the Droid: smooth, curved, and light, instead of hard, square and pointy,” he said. “It feels long and silky and natural in your hand — even more so than the iPhone 3GS.”

Google “Nexus One” Android 2.1 Phone coming January 5, 2010

Google Chrome vs. Safari

Many could think this is a piece of software that should only appeal to windows users, since they are the most subject to be unsatisfied by their Internet Explorer standard web experience, however there are reasons for you to try out Chrome even if you’re a happy Safari user.

Google’s purchase of AdMob Inc. will make it the Internet’s largest mobile advertising company. The AdMob acquisition will help Google enter a market on the iPhone where it has only tested the waters so far. Google began a revenue-sharing pilot program to place targeted advertising in applications in June. But Schmidt said that mobile revenue is growing faster than regular revenue, and Google wants to expand its role even further in the mobile phone space.
