SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (November 22, 2010)—Surgeworks Mobile Lab — the mobile devices application design and development team at Surgeworks, Inc. — releases a free Christmas themed game for iPhone and iPod Touch, as a holiday season edition of the original 3D word game, Letter Blocks World.
The game challenges players to manipulate 3D letter blocks to form words. Players work to compose words as fast as they can, however, the higher they score, the faster the blocks fall onto the board. Score higher with longer words, multiplier blocks, word chains and time bonuses. A full board ends the game.

LETTER BLOCKS XMAS includes a special, X-mas themed ARCADE MODE to give you a taste of Letter Blocks WORLD. Letter Blocks WORLD includes 5 immersive scenarios with an original soundtrack for each world; 3 action-packed, challenging game modes for a fun and endless game of Word Composition!
STORY MODE: Players attempt to beat the clock by achieving target scores or composing the required number of words on each of fifteen levels of play. The degree of difficulty increases with each level as blocks fall onto the board. A full board ends the game. ARCADE MODE: Players work to compose words as fast as they can in order to beat challengers, however, the higher they score, the faster the blocks fall onto the board. A full board ends the game. CLEAR THE BOARD MODE: Players are challenged to remove blocks from the board by keeping the device completely still while composing words and working to outscore opponents.
